How to assemble, use and clean your Robi Comb.


Troubleshooting

No buzzing when Robi Comb is turned on

Possible Reason Solution
Lice, dirt, dandruff, etc. caught between teeth Brush the Combing Unit clean. See video guide above for cleaning information.
Battery is placed in wrong direction Re insert battery with "+" matching "+" on the Robi Comb
Battery is old / used up Insert a new AA (1.5 volt) battery
The Combing Unit is wet Dry Combing Unit completely (use hair dryer)

If Robi Comb still does not buzz when turned on...

Remove the Combing Unit Cover (top, including Combing Unit teeth)

        If buzzing is silent with Combing Unit removed

Possible Reason Solution
Battery connection is poor Remove battery and check metal connections that touch battery in Robi Comb Body. Gently clean metal connections and battery (do not wash).
Metal Connections do not touch battery Gently pry metal connections out a little to make better contact with battery.
The Combing Unit is wet Dry combing unit completely (use hair dryer)

If no buzzing is heard at this point, please contact LiceGuard.  

If a buzzing is heard, re-attach Combing Unit Cover (top, including Combing Unit teeth)

If buzzing is now silent with Combing Unit on

Possible Reason Solution
Lice, dirt, dandruff, etc. caught between teeth Brush the Combing Unit clean. If dirt is still present, remove Combing Unit (teeth) from Cover and wash in warm water (see video guide above). Dry completely before use (use hair dryer)
The Combing Unit is wet Dry Combing Unit completely (use hair dryer)
Combing Unit teeth are bent and touching eachother Gently try to straighten teeth. If Combing Unit teeth are bent or broken, Order Replacement Combing Unit.
Black insulation tips of Combing Unit teeth are worn off Order Replacement Combing Unit.
Combing Unit teeth are bent or broken Order Replacement Combing Unit.


Comb shuts off when touches hair

Possible Reason Solution
Hair is wet Dry hair and Combing Unit completely (use hair dryer)
Sensor problem Please contact LiceGuard and they will assist you on how to troubleshoot this error.
