ROBICOMB® Lice Zapping Comb

Detects and eliminates super lice, lice, and eggs/nits.

1. PREPARING FOR USE

• Place 1 AA battery in the battery compartment (battery not included).
• Dry hair completely (ROBICOMB must be used on DRY HAIR ONLY).
• Before using the ROBICOMB, long hair should be combed through with a regular brush or comb to untangle any knots.

2. EFFECTIVELY USING THE ROBICOMB

• Divide hair into small sections: Use hair clips to separate combed hair from the uncombed. To turn on: Push the switch to the “ON” position. The ROBICOMB makes a continuous high pitched humming sound when working.
• Hold in the correct position: Hold unit with the word “ROBICOMB” facing up and with the comb at a 45-degree angle to the roots of the hair.
• Comb close to the scalp: Start at the scalp and pull comb through one inch of hair length (where lice live).
• Humming sound indicator: As you comb the hair, the humming sound will stop momentarily every time a louse or egg is destroyed or anything such as hair-product build-up or dandruff is large enough to break the connection between the teeth. Brush lice or objects out of combing unit teeth with the special enclosed brush and the humming sound will resume. Resume combing. Length of treatment may vary depending on type and length of hair.
• Switch off and clean the combing unit when treatment is completed.

3. COMPLETE THE TREATMENT CYCLE

• Comb infested hair daily for up to two weeks in order to detect and kill any new lice which have hatched since you began treatment. By treating daily and killing lice before they reach the age of reproduction, you put an end to the infestation cycle.

• Always clean the ROBICOMB before beginning treatment on another child or storing.
• To clean, remove the combing unit (metal teeth) and gently brush clean. The combing unit can also be washed by dipping the small cleaning brush in isopropyl alcohol and brushing the teeth.
• Let the teeth air dry completely.
• Store in a dry place; preferably not in the bathroom.
• Remove battery if not in use for extended period of time.

• Use as directed, for external use only.
• Consult with a physician before using ROBICOMB on an infant or toddler.
• Avoid contact with eyes, ears or mouth as well as other sensitive areas. Touching both sides of the combing unit may result in tingling sensation which some children may find unpleasant.
• Do not use ROBICOMB on sores or broken skin.
• ROBICOMB is intended for head hair only.
• People who suffer from epilepsy or seizure disorders, heart disease, or persons with a pace-maker or other neuro-stimulators should consult with a physician before using ROBICOMB.
